The Positive Futures report surveyed 3,695 people aged 18 to 25, including 1,736 LGBT+ young adults, from across the UK and identified a link between lack of LGBT+ inclusive support in childhood and poorer outcomes for mental health, wellbeing and career prospects in early adulthood.
Research into LGBT+ Inclusive Education
Just Like Us have conducted independent research which revealed that of 1,001 UK parents, most are supportive of LGBT+ inclusive education. The research also shows that very few children and young people have access to LGBT+ inclusive books to read at home, even though most parents think they would be helpful, and that parents would like schools to do more.
