Alumni Courses
If you have attended a initial YGAM workshop you are then able to attend the following Alumni courses:
LGBTQ+ Wednesday 18th December 2024 16:00
This 45 minute session gives professionals an overview of some new research which looks at the influences on gambling and gambling harms within LGBTQ+ communities. It draws upon findings from Public Health England and includes research undertaken by Dr Reece Bush-Evans (a lecturer in Psychology and a member of the Gambling Research Group at Bournemouth University).
YGAM's Unifrog Course
If you are one of the country's 3700 Unifrog schools then you may be interested in our Ygam sponsored Unifrog course, “The Truth about Gambling and Gaming”. The course has had a successful launch this year and we encourage all education institutes that work with Unifrog to get involved.
In it’s first two months, almost 300 pupils have attended the course. For those who complete it, they are then offered the chance to directly interact with Ygam by asking for and giving feedback. Ygam employees will directly and anonymously respond to questions and help support pupils that want to know more about Gaming and Gambling.
Find the course page here, and gain access to free education on the dangers of gaming and gambling for young people.
