Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service

The GEPS offer training courses to pre-schools, nurseries, schools and colleges both within Gloucestershire and further afield. Throughout the year we host a variety of courses where settings usually send two or three people. We are also able to deliver these courses to individual settings if this works better for you.

Alongside our training we offer a range of therapeutic support and interventions.

• Emotional literacy support assistant (ELSA)

Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service is able to offer a range of bespoke training packages in schools to:

• Build capacity among staff.
• Raise awareness about individual pupil need.
• Contribute to organisational/school development.

Your exact training needs can be planned and developed with your school EP who will be able to work with you to determine your exact needs.

Training can be delivered across all levels at school including:

• Whole school training
• Senior leadership
• Teaching staff
• Support staff
• Midday supervisors
